Duke University's MS Mosaic is a study that seeks to better understand multiple sclerosis from daily experiences. MS Mosaic is a unique iPhone app that uses a mix of surveys and tasks that use phone sensors or wearable devices in order to collect and track your health and symptoms of MS. The insights gained from this study may help customize symptom management and perhaps eventually influence all MS care.
We were honoured to work with Thread Research in the development of the app and setting up the HIPAA compliant infrastructure for the backend APIs and data storage. One of the great things about the app is that you don't have to be an MS patient in order to use it, they welcome anyone to take part in the study and get educated on about multiple sclerosis, its associated symptoms, and available treatments from trusted sources.
